If Pink Floyd and Radiohead had a kid; Mutant-Thoughts would probably be the cherished lovechild of the two. Though, technically, we can't really bolt any specific genre on to this Bristol band.

Mutant-Thoughts’ music often defies classification. Originally the brainchild of Colombian-born composer and synthesiser enthusiast Han Luis Cera, the band bring unerring infectious beats and atmospheric soundscapes into the space of modern progressive rock.

Mutant Thoughts, Bristol-based band, have just released new EP, Reality Suspended, which has been the output of their work for the last eight months. The Fountain caught up with the band to discuss the EP title and how they all came to meet.

As 2019 comes to a close, Mutant Thoughts are ending the year on a high note. From their beginnings as an experimental electronic trio four years ago, they’ve implemented an increasing number of psych- and prog-rock elements into their recipe. Now a fully-fledged outfit with a tight live setup & a reality-bending sound, Mutant-Thoughts are ready to usher in the new decade and the next generation of rock.
